About the project
My name is Francesc Arjonilla Roman and StockSemáforo is my personal project: a free fundamental-analysis tool built to answer, with the accounts on the table, the age-old question — is this stock cheap or expensive?
I built it because it was the tool I wanted to use and couldn't find: no sign-up, no hype, and with the numbers pulled straight from the source instead of copied from third parties.
Every fundamental comes from the official filings each company submits to the SEC through its public EDGAR system: the same 10-Ks and 10-Qs professionals read. We don't edit them by hand: they're extracted, cross-checked and recomputed automatically every night. When a figure isn't reliable —it happens, and we document it— we'd rather show nothing than show a doubtful number.
With a transparent, deterministic rule system —no black boxes— which you can read in full at how the traffic light works. If two people analyze the same company on the same day, they see exactly the same thing.
The site is free and carries no display ads. The model, if there ever is one, is broker affiliation: blocks marked «Advertising» may contain links that earn StockSemáforo a commission if you open an account —at no extra cost to you, and without moving any score by a single decimal—. The broker comparison is editorial: the ones listed are the ones we'd recommend anyway.
StockSemáforo is an educational, guidance-only tool: a first filter, never an investment recommendation. It doesn't know your situation, doesn't weigh qualitative factors, and the data may contain inaccuracies. Decisions —and their consequences— are always yours. For serious amounts, a regulated advisor pays for itself.
A figure that looks off, an idea, a collaboration? Write to contacto@stocksemaforo.com or on X: @stocksemaforo. Reported issues get reviewed and fixed: several of the site's data-quality checks were born that way.
