Best telecom and media stocks

Telecom is the infrastructure business: networks that cost a fortune to build and then generate very predictable revenue, month after month, from millions of customers. That predictability is both its virtue and its ceiling — slow growth, price competition and heavy debt from all that fiber and spectrum. So cash generation and the ability to sustain the dividend matter more than growth here. In media, the question is different: who survives the collapse of traditional television.

This ranking sorts by fundamental quality, not by whether a stock is cheap or expensive: an excellent company can be expensive. To find the fair price, enter its quote in the analyzer. The scores recompute on their own with each new SEC filing.
